Our products are built to solve problems I experienced myself as an outdoor adventure guide for five years. The products we develop are in segments that are often over looked by the large legacy outdoor companies but also focus on new and innovative design.
We have developed a range of new and innovative outdoor gear to help people better prepare for their outdoor adventures including:
KEA KIT: A modular, organised, outdoor Survival Kit
KEA STASH: Leak-free, trash compacting bag
WHAT’S THE BACKSTORY FOR YOUR BUSINESS IDEA?
The business was born just after the first New Zealand Covid lockdown in 2020 as it decimated my guiding business.
I used the spare time to start working on solving problems I had in the outdoors which lead to the development of our first product, the KEA KIT.
WHAT PROGRAMMES, LEARNING OR MENTORING HAVE BEEN OF ASSISTANCE SO FAR?
I have a couple of mentors that I work with, one that came via Business Mentors NZ and another privately.
I have also attended Startup Queenstown-Lakes entrepreneur events.
